Following a few requests, this wiki has been set up so that people can share their thoughts and experiences of the new ASUS MiniBook centrally.

In Dundee we are trialling several versions of the Eeepc, including the original Linux and the Windows with bigger memory. But they all have some disadvantages largely due to restrictions imposed by the IT boys. The Linux versions are using mobile broadband from RM (T-mobile modified) which is quite slow and expensivie but the Windows machines have been configured so that they only work on the schools network.
